This is a recipe I picked up in a supermarket in Panama.
It's very simple, as long as you can find somewhere to buy a can of French bread dough.
Preparation Time: 5 Minutes
|1 12 oz can French bread dough||2 tblsp olive oil|
|2 tblsp sun-dried tomato pesto||2 tblsp Parmesan cheese, grated|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a baking tray lightly with the olive oil.
Unroll the dough on a work surface and coat with the pesto, up to 1 inch from the edge.
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of the cheese and roll up lengthwise. Place on the baking tray, seam side down, and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake 18-20 minutes or until golden.
Serve by itself, or as a side dish to Pasta with Sun-dried Tomatoes and Artichoke Hearts.
