Lamb Biryani (NEW)

Lamb Biryani

This is a great way to use up any cooked lamb you might have left over from Sunday lunch.

Serves 2-3 people

Preparation Time:  5 Minutes
Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

1 cup cooked lamb 1/4  cup raisins
2 cups cooked rice 1 tblsp toasted almonds
1 medium onion, chopped 2 teasp black pepper
1/2 cup frozen peas 2 teasp chili powder
1 small red or green pepper, chopped  


Heat a tablespoon of cooking oil in a large frying pan, and fry the onion and red/ green pepper gently until soft. Stir in all the other ingredients and keep stirring until the peas are cooked.

Serve with a few side dishes, such as Tomato Relish or Mango Chutney.
