Preparation Time: 5 Minutes
|2 cups of sugar in 1/2 cup boiling water||Juice of 1 lemon|
|4 Tblsp gelatin||Juice and rind of 1 orange|
Put the sugar and water in a small pan and bring to the boil. Meanwhile, Put 4 tblsp.gelatin, or 1 package of Knox gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water. When the syrup boils, add the soaked gelatin and boil for 20 minutes.
A few minutes before taking from heat, add the juice of 1 lemon and juice and rind of 1 orange. Strain and set away in a very lightly buttered pan to harden. Cut in squares and roll in icing sugar.
